Working in the shop

Last Friday I worked all day in the shop trying to get an order done before we pack it all up. Here is a video of me working in the shop.

I will be finishing those branding irons hopefully today.

What's been goin on.

Hey yall, well I know it has been a while since I have posted any thing on my blog, but I am about to fix that!! LOL
 A couple of weeks ago we found out that the home inspection came through and we sold the farm!!!!! Then about a week later we found another place that we liked and made an offer on it. Thankfully they took the offer and we now have a place to go to.
 The place that we are buying consists of 70 acres, a log house, shop, and a equipment shed. Here are some photo's of it.

Some thin different

As yall know, I bought a Toshiba thrive tablet, and now 14 days later it starting messing up. :(  What was wrong was the gps wouldnt work, and the browser would just shut down for no reasone.
So I took it back to Best Buy and instaed of getting another Thrive ( I found out via internet that other folks are having the same problems) I got an iPad! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right folks, we sold the farm!!!!!! Although the sale is contingent that the place passes the home inspection and clears an appraisal.
So now we are looking for a place to build our new homestead in the South Central Ky area, but so far we haven't found "THE" place yet.
 If any of yall know of a piece of land for sale in the sout central ky area please email me and let me know.

Toshiba Thrive!!!!!!!!!

Well the other day I sold my laptop to Dad, (who was in a desperate need of a new one!!!!!!) and I got a Toshiba Thrive touch screen tablet!!!!!! It is taking some getting used to but thankfully I learn quick, and here are some photo's of it!!!!!!!!

MS walk 2011

Yesterday was the forth annual MS walk here in Bowling Green, and I thought that it was a good idea for me to try to raise some money for MS. So the day before the walk I worked in the shop making small hand forged items, and then on the day of the walk I set up a silent auction.

Nothin but Trouble

About a week after Buddy died I went for a walk down the drive way, and I found a little gray and white kitten. It didn't look to be over 3 weeks old, so I looked for it's mama,  and I found her but she had.been run over.
So I brought the little kitten back to the house, and she has stayed around ever since.
I had the hardest time trying to find a name and after a week of her staying in trouble I new I had found a name for her...... Trouble
