Laptop Replacement and some good news
Remember me saying that I was having a ton of problems with my HP laptop?
Well Office Depot took it back, and gave me a instore credit!!!!!! Since I REALLY needed some kind of laptop/tablet, I got the Asus Transformer prime!!!!! I love this thing, the docking station turns it into a laptop, and when it isn't attached to the dock, its a tablet!!!!! cool huh?? I will try to upload some photo's of it some time.
So hopefully I can start back to blogging on a regular basis!!!!!!!
OH YEAH!!! I ALMOST FORGOT!!!!!! I have decided to go ahead and take my GED test. Last week I took the pretest, and I did 4 of the tests in about one half of an hour (they usually take 1 hour EACH) and they said that I made one of the highest scores they have seen in a long time. I only got 8 wrong out of a 130 question test Needless to say, I was happy. Just hope I do that good on the REAL TEST!!!!!!! I will keep yall up to date. wish me luck!!!!

I am still alive, but not my laptop
Hey yall,
Well I am sorry about not putting any new blog post's on for soooo long, but I have a good excuse....... Or should I say explanation?
As yall know, I have been having a lot of problems with my laptop, and finally it got to where it wouldn't even work at all. So this time I didn't send it to HP since my manufactuars warrenty was up, I had to send it in to the company that I bought my extended warrenty from. So this makes the third time I have had this laptop sent off for repairs. Around here its a joke that the repair center has the computer more than I do, and that's true for the past 3 months!!!!!!!! I still haven't gotten it back from it's last repair (I am typing this on a borrowed laptop.. a HP laptop grrr) I should get it back by the end of next week, so it will have been gone for repairs for 3 weeks this last time.
In the blacksmith shop, I have been working like CRAZY!!!!! Some time this next week, I am going to show some of my iron work to a local Log Home company, so keep your fingers crossed that I get some orders!!!! Also I purchased a bunch of metal to build myself a Tire hammer.
Now if your wondering what in the world a tire hammer is, I will tell you. A tire hammer is a electrical powered hammer that hammers out hot metal, I can controll the hammer speed and force by how I step on a small "pedal" at the base of the hammer. Now some folks say that this type of hammer isn't traditional, but power hammers have been aroud for quite a while, but the older ones were powered by steam.
The reason I am building this hammer is to help me hammer out some bigger metal, and with that said, it will save my right arm from carpel tunnel, or nerve damage.
Also we are about to sell the tractor, and are going to try to do all/most of our farming with the team. So with that being said, I fabricated a piece of horse drawn equipment that will allow me to pull a utility trailer, or pull pieces of equipment. Some time in the next 3 weeks I am going to need to restore a old horse draw mowing machine........ that will be uhhhhh fun.......
Hopefully it wont be so long till the next video blog post.
